Introducing The Bridge Street Press

Dear Reader,

The Bridge Street Press is the new literary imprint from Little, Brown Book Group, publishing upmarket non-fiction with an international outlook. The imprint will be uniquely focused, with no more than five new books in any given year, enabling each to be given space and attention. I am extremely excited about this new venture. The world is frantic with ideas and voices; I want to cut through all that by directing resources solely to a small number of books. They will need to fit well together and in that sense it will be a curated list. Above all, each book will be exceptional – Bridge Street will be about unique ideas, communicated brilliantly by the most talented writers, thinkers and experts we can find.  My goal is to establish this imprint as one of the best homes for ground-breaking, influential and authoritative ideas in publishing, well known — as ideas do not respect borders — in many countries across the world.

Launching in 2020, the inaugural list promises to be thought-provoking, inspiring and revelatory. From Mervyn King and John Kay writing about radical uncertainty to Tim Harford on statistics and what promises to be a landmark piece of investigative writing from deep within Silicon Valley (more details to follow), the imprint’s first year will provoke debate as well as entertain. I look forward to sharing these new books with all of you, and welcome you to The Bridge Street Press’s community of readers. For updates on our publications and more, please sign up to the Little, Brown Newsletter.

Yours sincerely,
