Founded in 2009 by Publisher James Gurbutt, Corsair is a literary imprint with a unique list of both prize-winning authors and rising literary stars.

Corsair is home to a diverse range of writers from across the globe, including Delia Owens, Louise Erdrich, Jennifer Egan, Viet Thanh Nguyen, Chuck Palahniuk, Sophie Ward and Rabih Alameddine. From million-copy bestsellers to genre-defining fiction and non-fiction, Corsair is deeply proud of its authors and continues to seek out exciting new talent.

Corsair also has its own distinct poetry list (Corsair Poetry) which is home to a number of acclaimed and prize-winning poets, such as Victoria Chang, Mary Oliver, Ada Limón, Shane McCrae, Ella Frears and Michael Mullen.

I am Publisher at Corsair and Atom. I acquire a wide range of literary fiction and narrative non-fiction, with a particular interest in music, literature and nature. My authors include Jennifer Egan, Louise Erdrich, Delia Owens, Chris Stein, Baxter Dury, Marcel Theroux, Samuel Fisher and Amy Tan.

I am Deputy Publisher at Corsair and Atom. I am drawn to beautiful, atmospheric, mordant and unusual literary fiction, including where this overlaps with SFF. In narrative non-fiction, I am particularly interested in writing that draws on psychoanalysis, literature and politics. I am delighted to be building a curated poetry list. My authors include Sophie Ward, Mikey Please, Ella Frears, Rose Ruane, Kim Moore, Victoria Chang, Shane McCrae and Mary Oliver.

I’m especially drawn to evocative, propulsive writing and unique voices that show something fresh about connection and community. My special interests can be broadly distilled as faith, forests, and fandoms! I'm especially looking for spirituality, music, and cultural commentary in conversation with the zeitgeist.

I am Editorial Director at Corsair and Atom. On Corsair, I publish literary fiction – from distinctive debuts to established voices looking for a fresh approach. My taste leans towards the more accessible side of literary and I’ve published books across genres, ranging from speculative, horror, to literary thrillers.
