Annette Yates

Annette Yates was born in South Wales and grew up in the Brecon Beacons. She is married to Huw Thomas and has two grown-up daughters - Emma and Lindsay. After many years living in and around London, Annette now lives near Abergavenny in Monmouthshire, Wales. Carolyn Humphries

Carolyn Humphries has been a food writer and editor for many years. She started her career as a chef, but quickly realised she preferred to create food for people to cook at home. Having trained as a journalist, she became a food writer for Woman magazine. She has since written for numerous journals, is the author of over 60 books and has been a consultant, co-writer and editor on many more projects. She is a member both of The Guild of Food Writers and the Institute of Health Promotion and Education. Catherine Atkinson

Catherine Atkinson has a degree in Food and Nutrition BSc (Hons). She has been Deputy Cookery Editor on Woman's Weekly magazine and later Cookery Editor of Home. Christopher Barnatt

Christopher Barnatt is Associate Professor of Computing & Future Studies in Nottingham University Business School, and the author of ExplainingComputers.com, ExplainingTheFuture.com and their popular YouTube channels. Hilda Glickman

Hilda Glickman is a university lecturer and nutritionist. In her nutrition practice, she specialised in digestive problems with great success. Most of her clients were able to eliminate their IBS and related conditions using the methods in this book. Many had been suffering for years but had never really found the root cause. Once this was discovered and dealt with, they became well very quickly. Jan Braai

JanBraai's real name is Jan Scannell and he lives to braai, or barbecue. Jenefer Roberts

Jenefer Roberts is the wife of a Type 2 diabetic who grew frustrated at not being able to answer her husband's questions: `Can I eat that?` and `Why can`t I eat that?`. Unable to find clear, accessible and consistent advice on what foods she could cook for her husband, she made use of her background as an academic and began a programme of extensive research on the subject herself.
