Sphere acquires two new Isla Gordon festive romances

Sphere has acquired A New York Winter and another swoon-worthy festive romance novel by Isla Gordon.

World rights were acquired by Rebecca Roy, Commissioning Editor (currently on parental leave), from Hannah Ferguson at Hardman & Swainson. Ruth Jones, Editor, will publish A New York Winter in the UK in paperback, ebook and audiobook in November 2023.

A New York Winter follows Ashling who, on an unforgettable long weekend in New York City at nineteen, created a list of five life goals. Now, ten years later, those dreams have all crumbled. With only one viable goal left: move to New York City, Ashling packs her bags and sets off for a winter in the city that never sleeps. While trying to find a place to live, she encounters River, newly single, overlooked at work and miserable, who offers Ashling a room in his flat. With his help and the magical winter in New York City, Ashling starts to discover that some dreams are made to evolve, and new paths can be found in the most unlikely of places…
