Alice Hoffman

Alice Hoffman (1952) is an American novelist and children’s writer. She is the author of more than thirty works of fiction, including The World That We Knew (2019); The Marriage of Opposites (2015); The Museum of Extraordinary Things (2014); The Dovekeepers (2011); Here on Earth (1997), an Oprah’s Book Club selection; and the Practical Magic series with one of the books selected for Reese’s Book Club. She is a New York Times bestseller for Seventh Heaven (1990), and currently lives near Boston.
