Ben Sedley

Ben Sedley is a clinical psychologist and ACT therapist with experience of working with children, adolescents and families facing mental health difficulties in both primary health centres and community mental health teams in New Zealand and London. Ben's training and practice has focused on examining children and young people's understandings of mental health, which has helped guide him on the best ways to explain mental health concepts and ACT to young people.

Choden

Formally a monk for seven years within the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, CHODEN completed a three year, three month retreat in 1997 and has been a practicing Buddhist since 1985. Born as Sean McGovern, he is originally from South Africa where he trained as a lawyer and learned meditation under the guidance of Rob Nairn, an internationally renowned Buddhist teacher.Choden is now involved in developing secular mindfulness and compassion programmes drawing upon the wisdom and methods of the Buddhist tradition, as well as contemporary insights from psychology and neuroscience. He is an honorary fellow of the University of Aberdeen and teaches on their Postgraduate Study Programme in Mindfulness (MSc) that is the first of its kind to include compassion in its curriculum. He lives on the Isle of Arran.

Gillian Todd

Dr Gillian Todd is a BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, Supervisor and Trainer who is an Independent Practitioner based in Cambridge. Over her career, she has been Senior Lecturer in cognitive behavioural therapy at the University of East Anglia and an honorary Visiting Fellow in the Department of Psychiatry, University of Cambridge.

Kevan Wylie

Kevan Wylie is Consultant at the The Porterbrook Clinic, Sheffield and the Directorate of Urology, Royal Hallamshire Hospital. He is Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer in Psychiatry and Honorary Clinical Lecturer in Urology, University of Sheffield and Adjunct Associate Professor, University of Sydney. Dr Wylie has been Chairman of the British Society for Sexual Medicine (2007- 2009), President of the International Scientific Committee, World Association for Sexual Health (2005-2009), General Secretary and Treasurer, European Federation of Sexology (2002-2010) and Chairman of Psychosexual Scientific Sub-committee, European Society for Sexual Medicine (2003-2008). He was also President of Section of Sexuality and Sexual Health, Royal Society of Medicine, London (2005-2007) and Chairman of British Society of Psychosomatic Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Andrology (2005-2007). He is Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London (FRCP) and the Royal College of Psychiatrists (FRCPsych) and Associate Member of the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS) and Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG).

Lee Brosan

Dr Lee Brosan is a consultant psychologist with the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. Over a long career she has been Head of the Psychological Treatment Service, Trust Lead for the Development of Psychological Therapies, Clinical Associate at the MRC Cognitive and Brain Science Unit in Cambridge, a founder member of the Cambridge Clinical Research Centre for Affective Disorders, and Associate Lecturer in the Experimental Psychology Department at Cambridge.

Mark Freeman

Mark Freeman is a mental health coach and human centered design workshop facilitator based in Toronto. He has taught Shakespeare's plays in Korea, tended gardens in Spain, filmed an Arabic-language documentary on youth employment in Cairo, and facilitated strategy workshops for executives at multiple Fortune 500 companies. Martha Beck

Martha Beck is a bestselling author. She has made numerous appearances on television and radio, including the television show OPRAH. She has carried out research at Harvard Business School, and through her company Life Design, Inc. she helps clients develop their careers and their lives.

Melanie Fennell

Melanie Fennell is one of the pioneers of cognitive therapy for depression in the UK and developed the Oxford Diploma in Cognitive Therapy and Oxford/MSc in Advanced Cognitive Therapy. She is a research clinician in the Oxford Mindfulness Centre and teaches on the Masters Degree in MBCT in Oxford University.

Michael Crowe

Dr. Michael Crowe was a founder member of both the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy (BABCP) and the Institute of Family Therapy in London. He worked as a psychiatrist for almost 30 years at the Maudsley Hospital, London and was honorary Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Psychiatry (Kings College, London). Since retirement he works in private practise and continues to teach and lecture.
