Forced resignations, church conflict, and unrealistic expectations take an emotional and spiritual toll... So, what do you do when loving God's people hurts?

RENEWED is a 40-day devotional that guides readers on a journey back into the loving and healing arms of Jesus. It includes stories from the author and other women who have experienced Church hurt, devotional reflections, the process of forgiveness, and prayer and worship exercises. Next Level Thinking Journal

Joel Osteen
Authors:
Joel Osteen

We all have things that are trying to hold us back: guilt from past mistakes, temptations that we can't seem to overcome, or dysfunctions that have been passed down. It's easy to learn to live with these problems and accept them as who we are. We can all find a reason to live like we're at a disadvantage and become negative and bitter-we came down with an illness, somebody walked out of a relationship, our boss overlooked us. But we have to say, "I'm done making excuses. I'm not going to let the past keep me from moving forward and benefitting from the good things God has in store." It is time to say, "It is finished."In his new book, Next Level Thinking, Joel Osteen wrote that we weren't created to go through life weighed down by addictions, dysfunction, guilt, or the past. God created us to be free. Now, in the NEXT LEVEL THINKING JOURNAL, Joel Osteen offers practical guidance to help you overcome past hurt, mistakes, and guilt. As you are challenged with readings, Biblical wisdom, and thought-provoking questions, you will learn to enjoy the life God intended for you.

Win from Within

John W. Gray
Authors:
John W. Gray

In WIN FROM WITHIN, John Gray helps readers identify how best to handle the most difficult, challenging and yet necessary battle that we all face-our inner struggle to overcome the worst versions of ourselves. He offers biblical lessons to aid in combatting bad habits and limiting patterns so that the best version of ourselves emerges.WIN FROM WITHIN gives practical application to the story recorded in Genesis of Jacob wrestling with the man at the River Jabbok, and through it readers will learn how to become the persons they were created to be. The persons God intended each of us to be develops as we face our inner battles. With examples from his own life as well as his ministerial counseling, Gray provides a pathway to awakening. He includes strategies for confronting the past, how we have been labeled, who people have said we are, even who we think we are, so that we can win the battle and be who God intends us to be. Jacob spent much of his life running and hiding from himself. At a certain point we, like Jacob, cannot run from our true selves anymore. We must stop and face ourselves if we are to become great. WIN FROM WITHIN helps us conquer our inner darkness and overcome such hindrances as fear, shame and guilt. This powerfully biblical self-help guide will push us toward victory over our inner struggles. Winning will make us the persons we have always wanted to be, the persons we have dreamed about becoming, the persons God created us to be.

As well, Piper and his writing partner Cecil Murphey have included a Q&A section at the back of the book-questions people have most often asked Piper about what heaven is like, who is there, and what they can expect when they die. This all-new, delightful, revealing book will not only answer your questions about heaven but it will also challenge you to answer Jesus' call to "draw all people unto Me."
