The first book in USA Today bestselling author Jenny Holiday's fun and flirty Bridesmaids Behaving Badly contemporary romance series.

Jane Denning has always been the responsible one among her friends. So it's par for the course when she's assigned a vital task to perform at her friend Elise's upcoming wedding: babysit Cameron McKinnon, half-brother of the groom and notorious hell-raiser.

Cameron McKinnon is used to being the family disappointment, the bad seed. Joining the military seemed like a good idea--but everything came crashing down when he was dishonorably discharged for attacking a superior officer. What he couldn't tell anyone was that the "attack" was defense of a fellow soldier. It just so happens his half-brother's wedding coincides with his first week as a civilian, and Cam figures he's due for some fun.The only problem is the wet blanket of a bridesmaid who has been assigned to "babysit" him.

Jane knows Cameron is trying to get rid of her with his over-the-top shenanigans, so she's surprised when she starts having fun and letting go of some of her inherent reserve. But when Jane places her trust in Cameron, can he become the man she needs him to be?

Biographical Notes

Jenny Holiday is a USA Today bestselling author who started writing at age nine when her awesome fourth-grade teacher gave her a notebook and told her to start writing some stories. That first batch featured mass murderers on the loose, alien invasions, and hauntings. (Looking back, she's amazed no one sent her to a shrink.) She's been writing ever since. After a detour to get a PhD in geography, she worked as a professional writer, producing everything from speeches to magazine articles. Later, her tastes having evolved from alien invasions to happily-ever-afters, she tried her hand at romance. Today she is the bestselling author of all sorts of romance novels: contemporary and historical, straight and gay. She lives in London, Ontario, with her family.

The Upside of Over

J.D. Barrett
Authors:
J.D. Barrett

A scathingly brilliant new novel from TV scriptwriter J.D. Barrett, author of THE SECRET RECIPE FOR SECOND CHANCES, that explores sex, love and all the stuff in-between.What happens when one of the country's most popular identities goes from reading the news to being the news? Olivia Law had always been the good girl. Great grades, perfect career, husband, house and hairdo. She'd learnt image was everything so she refused to look below the surface of her life. When not at work, her minutes were filled with causes, chairing boards and dining at fabulous restaurants with her equally fabulous husband, David. She kept up the Botox, blow-dries and worked hard. It wasn't enough, but whenever doubt crept in she'd head to a pilates class or plan a renovation on her trophy house. Then she turned 45. Olivia wasn't prepared for David to leave. The fact that they hadn't had sex for two years should have triggered warning bells ... it didn't.In an attempt to fix her broken marriage Olivia exposes herself like never before. But when her confession goes viral, the husband, house and job disappear. The woman who once offered glamorous reassurance and a steady gaze is labelled a princess of perversion. Humiliated, defeated, facing fifty shades of failure, she's left wondering who the hell she really is? Stripped bare, she abandons perfection ... and something remarkable happens. Olivia Law just might get her sass back (and this time, it's the real thing). The brilliant new novel from J.D. Barrett about break ups, breakdowns and break throughs. Batteries not included.

Lushadj. Very rich and providing great sensory pleasure (Oxford English Dictionary)n. A habitual drunkard (Oxford English Dictionary)'Arms linked, just as we did when we were seventeen, we teeter our way to the club, pausing to tug Emma's stiletto out of a drain cover and sling our empty wine bottle into the bin. For the first time in a long while I feel truly happy. I want to be standing arm-in-arm with my best friend, both completely pole-axed, for the rest of my days. And then it comes to me, with a stab: this is possibly our last night out together as free women...'Gabby and Emma have been best friends since primary school in Wales. Emma has a stable job, a nice home and has just got engaged. Gabby has had a succession of disastrous one-night-stands and five awful jobs since drama school . . . and she has just been diagnosed with scurvy. She has one year until the wedding to pull herself together and prove to her friends and family that she can be a proper grown-up.Described by Caitlin Moran as 'filthy, immoral and incredibly funny', Gabrielle Fernie's blog, loveisa4letterturd.com, catalogued her life as a struggling actress with a taste for gin. Here, in her first book, she shares more of her most raucous stories with eye-watering honesty. It is a refreshing, frank and laugh-out-loud account of a young woman trying to find her place in the world; ultimately realising that it's fine to play at being an adult until she properly figures it out.
