The creators of the top-rated podcast Guys We F*cked explore the diversity of human sexuality in this open, empowering, shame-free conversation about sex - from vanilla to kink, from one night stands to abuse, and everything in between.

An Uncensored Conversation About Sex and Self from the Creators of the Top-Rated Guys We F*cked: The Anti Slut-Shaming Podcast

Comedians Corinne Fisher and Krystyna Hutchinson started Guys We F*cked: The Anti Slut-Shaming Podcast in 2013, intending to interview guys they'd slept with to learn more about themselves and squash the stigma so often associated with sexual women. As the podcast grew, and Corinne and Krystyna got to know their fans, stories of sexual assault, verbal and emotional abuse and crippling shame became common topics of discussion along with those humorous conversations highlighting overall sexual confusion among many adults. The podcast is now a community of over a million listeners worldwide and a place where any and all taboo sex topics are discussed freely, both with celebrity guests and the real people in their lives.

F*cked follows that model, as Corinne and Krystyna bring a mix of raw, ridiculous and serious sexual conversation to the page that will include topics like:

· Why shame is completely made up and how we can stop giving into it
· Sexual exploration and how it sometimes ends in a trip to A&E
· Stuff we should stop doing: Snooping, nitpicking our bodies, and faking orgasms
· Asking your sexual partner uncomfortable questions
· How to get yourself out of an unsafe situation
· Masturbation, threesomes, porn, sex toys, butt stuff and much, much more

This is a guide to love and sex for anyone who has ever felt afraid to be their authentic sexual self. It won't talk down to you or coddle you, because you're better than that. Despite what Rom-Coms and glossy magazines tell you, you can handle sexual exploration without the assistance of a man, a glass of rosé, or a Xanax-and more importantly, you're fine all by yourself.

Everybody Is Awful: (Except You!)

Jim Florentine
Authors:
Jim Florentine

Twitter Trolls. Facebook Freaks. Instagram Exhibitionists. These are just a few of the creatures our technology-obsessed culture has spawned in its quest to simplify our lives. The madness is so universal now that everyone has dealt with it. You login to Facebook, read a stupid post, and immediately want to tell your "friend" to go have relations with himself. Sure, social media may keep us connected, but it is a breeding ground for idiots, and these idiots have crowd-sourced a storm of useless information, corny jokes, and douchebag drama that's wasting our time and screwing with our peace of mind.Thankfully, popular comedian and television host Jim Florentine has a solution for those of us on the verge of bashing our iPhones to bits. In Everybody Is Awful, Florentine attacks awful people and awful situations with the same biting satire and cringe-worthy humor that made him famous on television shows like Crank Yankers, Meet the Creeps, and That Metal Show.Along the way, Everybody Is Awful takes readers through the author's formative years, a time filled with rebellion and horrible behavior, to the crazy early days of his career as a stand-up comedian. Florentine also recounts how he developed an obsession with pranks that morphed into his uniquely vigilante style of comedy and made him one of the most legendary prank callers of all time.Florentine excels at channeling the core rage we all feel at the seemingly small annoyances of life and his fans love the cathartic experience hidden within his hilarious ranting and raving, a tradition continued in Everybody Is Awful. Acting as a de facto therapist, Florentine diagnoses awful behavior, shames awful people, and offers comedic takes on how to reclaim our lives from it all.

Allison Vale, Victoria Ralfs
Authors:
Allison Vale, Victoria Ralfs

'We are all equally fascinating, equally valuable, equally capable of altruism, equally able to change the world for the better. That's feminism, isn't it? And it's what every parent wants for their kids . . . every parent that's not a d*ck, that is.'Growing up in the '70s, neither Allison Vale nor Victoria Ralfs reckoned they needed feminism. But years of settling for the smallest chops at the dinner table, getting battered in British Bulldog, and negotiating the flasher down the lane, left them feeling uneasy: had feminism been the missing link?In How to Raise a Feminist, they join forces as mothers, educators, story-tellers and women, to tell the riotous story of how they came to put feminism at the core of their parenting.Real feminism is:· NOT angry or man-hating· common sense· the way to raise happily flawed, robust sons and daughtersReal parenting is:. mostly without a script. often a bit terrifying. entirely amazingHow to Raise a Feminist is the ideal read for anyone, anywhere, unnerved by the pressure to be perfect; a 'good enough' guide to raising your children into gloriously gutsy, empathetic, likeable young people, irrespective of their gender.

Mindfulness for Women

Vidyamala Burch, Claire Irvin
Authors:
Vidyamala Burch, Claire Irvin

No matter who we are, or what stage of life we are at, we all long for similar things; to be happy, connected with others, in touch with a sense of calm and peace, vital, alive and joyful. And we long to be able to ride out the tough patches that hit all of us from time to time with some degree of grace and dignity. The good news is that we can fulfil these longings at any time, in any place. They are only a moment away, a breath away. We can learn how to be comfortable with our body, know and understand our mind, and love our heart. It isn't difficult, long-winded or time-consuming. In doing so you'll feel happier in your own skin, less stressed, more confident, more capable and more at ease with yourself and life. This is what Mindfulness for Women is about. It is a practical guide to coming home to yourself in each present moment. To finding the ledge behind the waterfall. To resting in the depths of the ocean rather than being tossed about by surface waves.Mindfulness is a potent antidote to anxiety, stress, depression, exhaustion and irritability. It leads to a greater sense of contentment and can also reduce addictive and self-destructive behavioural patterns. This book will enable you to experience the benefits for yourself. It's not designed as a lengthy course but is solutions-based. It's fast - evidence shows that a little bit of mindfulness goes a long way. It's also bespoke - you can read all of it cover to cover, or simply dip in and out, depending on what you want to focus on. You can listen to whichever meditation track suits you at any given time and you can run tracks together if you want to meditate for longer periods. It's designed to suit your life and priorities now and well into the future.

A Brief History of the Amazons

Lyn Webster Wilde
Authors:
Lyn Webster Wilde

'Golden-shielded, silver-sworded, man-loving, male-child slaughtering Amazons,' is how the fifth-century Greek historian Hellanicus described the Amazons, and they have fascinated humanity ever since. Did they really exist? For centuries, scholars consigned them to the world of myth, but Lyn Webster Wilde journeyed into the homeland of the Amazons and uncovered astonishing evidence of their historic reality.North of the Black Sea she found archaeological excavations of graves of Iron Age women buried with arrows, swords and armour. In the hidden world of the Hittites, near the Amazons' ancient capital of Thermiscyra in Anatolia, she unearthed traces of powerful priestesses, women-only religious cults, and an armed, bisexual goddess - all possible sources for the ferocious women.Combining scholarly penetration with a sense of adventure, Webster Wilde has produced a coherent and absorbing book that challenges preconceived notions, still disturbingly widespread, of what men and women can do.
