Lena Spencer appears to have it all: a rich husband, two wonderful children, and a life of luxury. Though she seems to have everything, Lena is missing one important thing…happiness. Her husband is emotionally distant, her son has developed a drug habit, and her daughter is disgusted by her mom’s ‘overbearing behaviour’.
Lena soon learns that money can’t buy happiness and her husband is no longer the man she married. After refusing further counseling, Randall offers his wife an ultimatum: ‘Be grateful for all I’ve done for you or leave.’ Lena decides to take the latter choice. Drawing strength from Tina Turner’s autobiography, SEARCHING FOR TINA TURNER is Lena’s struggle to find herself after twenty-five years of being Randall’s wife.
