Peter Haining

Peter Haining was a prolific editor of anthologies and collections throughout all subgenres of fiction, and he also wrote his own short stories, recently a series about the Second World War. He collected and edited several books about Sherlock Holmes including The Sherlock Holmes Scrapbook and The Television Sherlock Holmes to tie in with the iconic Jeremy Brett series of the eighties and nineties. He died in 2007.Peter Haining wrote and edited a number of acclaimed books on the supernatural, including Ghosts: The Illustrated History, and A Dictionary of Ghosts, as well as fiction anthologies The Mammoth Book of Modern Ghost Stories. A former publisher and much admired figure, he died in 2007. He lived in a sixteenth-century house in Suffolk that is haunted by the ghost of a Napoleonic prisoner of war.

Amber Hatch

Amber Hatch is a writer, teacher, and childminder. She is established as a parenting and a mindfulness expert. Amber began to practise daily Buddhist meditation with the Samatha Centre in 2009. Since 2013 she has helped to organise family retreats at the centre in Wales. She has run numerous classes and groups for parents in Oxford, including a natural parenting toddler group and a mindfulness support group for parents. Her parenting book, Nappy Free Baby, was published by Vermillion in 2015. With her illustrator husband, Alex Ogg, she created Colouring for Contemplation (Watkins 2015), and More Colouring for Contemplation (Watkins, 2016).

Nic Higham

Nic Higham is certified in a number of psychotherapeutic approaches including person centered counseling, group analysis, neurolinguistic therapy, and self inquiry. He has over ten years of experience working for the National Health Service (NHS) in mental health inpatient care and a therapeutic community. Higham comanages a renowned mental health service improvement scheme, run by a social justice charity whose work aims to improve the lives and autonomy of the most marginalized social groups in the UK. He has been actively involved in communicating the message of non-duality through organizing seminars, producing popular podcasts, blogging, social networking, and other multimedia activities. Hans Holzer

Hans Holzer, whose investigations into the paranormal took him to haunted houses and other sites all over the world, wrote more than 140 books on ghosts, the afterlife, witchcraft, extraterrestrial beings, and other phenomena associated with the realm he called 'the other side.' Among his famous subjects was the Long Island house that inspired The Amityville Horror book and film adaptations. Holzer studied at the University of Vienna, Austria, and at Columbia University, New York, earning a master's degree in comparative religion. He taught parapsychology at the New York Institute of Technology. Holzer died in 2009. Alexandra Holzer, a Scientific Paranormal Researcher, is no stranger to the world of the supernatural. Continuing in her late father's footsteps, she is a second generation ghost hunter.
