Who doesn't love a mullet? (The hairstyle, not the fish.) All right, not everyone does - but we all like to have an opinion about mullets. The mullet can be found throughout Australia, in cities, towns and out bush, on men, women and children. Mullet is a collection of photographs that celebrate the glory that is the mullet. Isabella Moore attended the 2018 Mulletfest in the NSW country town of Kurri Kurri and photographed a range of spectacular mullets, including category winners for 'Feral Mullet' and 'Ranga Mullet'. The resulting book, Mullet, contains fine examples of mullets as seen on Australians old and young.

By Hal Buell, David Halberstam
Organized by year, the photographs in this stunning and emotional work create a poignant visual chronicle of our times. The images here, many of which are seared into our collective consciousness, include raising the flag at Iwo Jima, a young Vietnamese girl fleeing her village, her body burned by napalm, and the collapse of the World Trade towers. Others show less-well-known, but equally as powerful scenes from children in war-torn Liberia washing themselves in a bucket of water to a high-diver at the Barcelona Olympics. Each photograph is narrated with an essay by Hal Buell, the former head of picture services at Associated Press. An illustrated timeline of each year places the photographs in historical context.
Me and My Bike
By Donato Cinicolo
Around the world it is estimated that 130 million bicycles are sold every year, making the trusty bike our favourite mode of transport whether we are commuting to work or cycling for pleasure. Bikes come in all shapes and sizes, from the most basic, least expensive models to the most sophisticated sports cycles that can cost as much as a family car. But whether it was bought cheaply or cost a packet, people form a bond with their bikes that becomes a true affair of the heart. Donato Cinicolo has sought out and photographed scores of bicycle lovers including the naturist stuntman who rides a ladies' racer dressed in nothing but fluorescent yellow shorts; the retired postman who rides a retired GPO delivery bike; the old lady who carries her enormous cat in the basket on her handlebars; and the penny farthing fan. From racing geeks to affectionate collectors, every one of Donato's pictures tells a story and, of course, every devoted bike rider has a story to tell.
