Kristin van Ogtrop is the editor of Real Simple magazine and has held positions at Glamour, Vogue, Travel and Leisure, and Premiere. She lives outside New York City with her family
Jennifer Vanderbes is a graduate of Yale and the University of Iowa, where she also taught. Her short story 'The Hatbox' was published to critical acclaim in Best New American Voices 2000. She is 27, lives in New York, and teaches Creative Writing at Colgate University.
Donald M. Vickery
Donald M. Vickery, MD, helped develop the first medical decision charts for non-doctors. Formerly the head of the nonprofit Self-Care Institute, he died in 2008. Fries and Vickery also coauthored, with Robert H. Pantell, Taking Care of Your Child.
Gore Vidal was at the centre of literary and intellectual life for half a century and wrote 'The Narratives of a Golden Age' series as well as countless bestsellers. He died on 31st July 2012.
