Delaney Westcott is urgently summoned to New York after Lucas Wayne, a rock-star-turned-movie-star, is attacked and almost killed in his hotel room. His assailant is Rina Cole, an actress and ex-flame of Wayne's who holds Wayne responsible for her career's plummet. Delaney's first priority is to protect Lucas from Rina - and they head out for the snow-capped mountains of Colorado to lay low. But the situation is complicated for both Delaney, whose ex-boyfriend is in the area, and Wayne, who has an obsessive fan following him. When a murder occurs Delaney gets the blame and is forced to go on the run. She's been set up and must now prove her innocence.
