Amanda Craig's Hearts and Minds (Abacus) and Sarah Waters' The Little Stranger (Virago) have both made it onto the longlist for the Orange Prize for Fiction.

The Orange Prize is awarded to the woman who, in the opinion of the judges, has written the best, eligible full-length novel in English.
