THINK YOURSELF THIN.
Visualise yourself as your ideal weight, wearing something you’ve always wanted to wear. Think about how that makes you feel. No amount of cakes or crisps will ever give you that buzz. Recall this image whenever you feel tempted by the wrong foods.
BE PREPARED!
Carry portable snacks such as almonds, bananas or foil packets of sundried tomatoes. These will fill you up when you are out and about and will stop you being tempted by fast food. Keep a stash in your car or in your desk, too.
LEARN THE THREE Rs.
Eat food that grows or ROAMS, that you could eat RAW and that you can RECOGNISE as natural food.
DITCH THE DAIRY – MILK SUCKS.
Cow’s milk is not suitable for humans at all, as it is packed with growth hormones which make us fat. Avoid milk, cheese, cream and butter, and try alternatives made from soya or rice milk.
MAX YOUR METABOLISM.
Herbs and spices such as cinnamon, ginger, cayenne, cardamom and ginseng can promote weight loss by stimulating thermogenesis (heat generated by the body), so spice up your life!
WIGGLE IT!
Those who fidget, twiddle pens, tap their feet up and down or swing their legs burn more calories than clam individuals – so start wriggling!
