Our February Loves and Loathes

Loving:

Crispy, cold and sunny Sunday mornings – perfect for a walk in the park or a read in bed with a side order of croissants and coffee.

New season CSI: New York. Especially the episode inspired by When Harry Met Sally – a young girl, ahem, climaxes to death in a deli. How do they come up with it? TV gold.

Heatworld.com. An hourly injection of inane celeb prattle – just what we need in our otherwise studious and wholesome lives.

Darius as Rhett Butler in Gone with the Wind musical. Oh, admit it, you think he’ll be pretty good too. Quite frankly my dear, I do give a damn!

BBC One’s Mistresses: toy boys, office flings and saucy revelations – not to mention some serious eye candy in the form of Adam Rayner – make Tuesday night much more fun!

Mornings feeling a bit brighter – at last

The actors we love when they take it to the stage – first Ewan McG in Othello; now Jude Law in Hamlet. We’re just going for the plays . . . honest

Loathing:

Anyone who describes La Britney’s life as like ‘a car crash’. Well, yes, obviously it is, but admitting it slightly dents our enjoyment of catching the latest updates on heatworld.com.

Being surrounded by smug girls and their smug Valentine’s bouquets on the bus home. Salt. In. Our. Wounds.

Ra-ra mini skirts. Come on, Topshop, don’t let us down and fall for the hype.

Wispa panic. Where are they? I thought I saw some in Boots but it was a Twirl false-alert. Where are they?! Curses!

Robbie’s beard. Awful.

Tacky Valentine’s things everywhere. Who buys the fluffy Cupids, plastic hearts, etc.? And whoever does, they shouldn’t!
