Little, Brown news from this week's Nielsen BookScan Bestsellers Charts

Stephenie Meyer's Breaking Dawn is the bestselling Children’s title by miles this week, AND, having sold 32,500 copies, it’s the second bestselling title overall – an incredible feat considering it had no help from either Richard and Judy or the supermarkets!

Twilight, Eclipse and New Moon all stay in the Children's Top 10 for the 3rd week.

And if that’s not enough we also have Mark Billingham's In the Dark at No. 4 in the Hardback Fiction Top 10 -- the highest first week’s sales of a Mark Billingham hardback since Lifeless -- and Dorothy Koomson's Goodnight, Beautiful at No. 5 in the Paperback Fiction chart, her biggest opening week ever!

We also have seven new entries, four titles in the Hardback Fiction chart, seven in the Trade Paperback (large format) Fiction chart, and three in the Paperback Fiction chart, including Alexander McCall Smith's The Careful Use of Compliments new in at No. 37.

In Non-Fiction we have three titles in the Trade Paperback (large format) chart, Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman's Long Way Down and Alex James's Bit of a Blur stay in the Paperback Non-Fiction chart, we have six out of the Top 20 Science Fiction paperbacks and Ken MacLeod's The Night Sessions enters the Science Fiction Hardback chart at No. 10.
