Deputy Publisher for Orbit
Orbit, the SF and Fantasy imprint of Little, Brown Book Group, is looking for a Deputy Publisher. Our authors include Iain M. Banks, Trudi Canavan, Kelley Armstrong, Brent Weeks and Robert Jordan.
The Deputy Publisher will be a dynamic business manager, able to recognize and seize opportunities to develop our print and digital publishing programs. The Deputy Publisher will be responsible for implementing publishing plans, have excellent judgement, be a great communicator, and embrace change in the publishing industry and market-place.
As well as commissioning fiction from both new and existing authors, the Deputy Publisher will manage the editorial team, and liaise closely with the Orbit editorial team in New York. Our new Deputy Publisher will have an excellent understanding of the SF and Fantasy genres, and be able to communicate this enthusiasm effortlessly.
